This hotel is perfectly situated, just a short walk from the main beach and surrounded by beautiful gardens. the rooms are clean and spacious, and the outdoor bathrooms add a unique touch. the service provided by the staff is excellent, with friendly and attentive hosts who go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the breakfast options are varied and tasty, with a mix of Western and Sri Lankan dishes. the view from the private terrace is breathtaking, giving you a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Some minor details could be improved, such as the need for additional chairs in the room and an extra mirror. the window system can be quite delicate and challenging to open and close smoothly.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful, even calling Tuk Tuk for us. The beautiful garden where we had breakfast was mind-blowing. The breakfast with omelette and fresh fruit was super. The clean room with nice bathroom and good mosquito net was jaw-dropping. The proximity to the sea, but still quiet, was amazing. The owners offered a moped for a good price, did our laundry, and had a tuk tuk on hand. The modest yet comfortable and clean room had air-con. If you want an easy, value-for-money stay, this is for you!

This triple room at Ocean Villa was amazing! The soundproofing was on point, so we didn't hear a peep from outside. The tile/marble floor gave it a fancy vibe, and I felt like a VIP. Loved it!
The only thing I didn't love was the garden view in the double room. It's just a personal preference, though.

The shower was warm, which was a relief after a long day at the beach. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the beautiful beach. Another advantage was the helpful staff, who were always ready to assist with any queries or issues.
We had a terrible experience during our Christmas stay at this hotel. On the night we stayed, there was a big storm and the leaking ceiling flooded our room, soaking the bed and the floor.

We spent an amazing 4 nights at Ocean Villa in Hiriketiya and it was one of the highlights of our 3-week trip to Sri Lanka. The house and garden were stunning, with everything kept incredibly clean and well-maintained. We loved having breakfast in the beautiful garden and the proximity to Hiriketiya beach was a huge bonus. The family who hosted us were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of their family. They even helped arrange transportation for us to Yala and the airport in Colombo. it was a truly wonderful stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was super tidy and well-maintained, especially compared to other places we've stayed in Sri Lanka. The family who runs the villa were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach but away from the noise. The food we ordered for lunch was delicious, and we were impressed with the laundry services as well. The strong WiFi connection was a pleasant surprise. we had a great experience at Ocean Villa and would recommend it to others.
